Happy 2017!! I wanted to make sure that I started my blog this year with truth. I like being honest even if others don't. I was in a horrible relationship last year for about 30 days. This guy was the worst. He was a fraud, he wanted to be like someone he wasn't and it did damage to our relationship and the relationship with his kids. Because this man was so selfish and materialist, he isn't aware that he is a fake and disappointing his children everyday. I can't be mad at him for being a liar and the worst boyfriend I ever had. I always knew something was wrong with him because he lied too much about everything. He was just like his father, they talked too much and they thought they knew everything and didn't know shit. I happened to do some research after the relationship was over and I googled his name and over 10 mugshots popped up for this man and even some for his father. I hope that I am able to be an example to others, research people before you invest in them. A lot of people out there are frauds and fake people. This guy was also a thief and that is why he has so many mugshots. I want to be clear about getting involved too quickly with people and not really giving that person a chance to show their true selves. A lot of people hid behind something and out of nowhere, they become who they really are and some times, it's too late. Let this be a lesson to all, trust yourself and listen to your own instincts about people. I will never allow something like this to happen to me again and I will do my best to make sure that this doesn't happen to the people I love around me.
Sincerely,
CB

My Journey!!
My Journey has been very insightful and I have learned a lot about myself and others. My journey has never been based on others or their opinions. I have never cared about what people think or say about me. I have been working on trying to be a better me and I am on my way. I have meet a lot of people along the way and the one thing I have truly learned is to be yourself, your true authentic self. That is why I have come a long way in my life by being myself, not pretending to be someone I am not. I have always been the kind of person who doesn't like to be told what to do or what will work best in my life, I will be the one who determines what works in my life. I hope that you are being true to yourself and find what works best for you in your Journey!!
Until Next Time,
Carmen

Happy Wednesday!!
I am so excited to introduce our new baby Summer. She is adorable and the light of our lives. My sister is enjoying spending time with her baby as I am enjoying being the Auntie. I am so proud of my sister for taking on such a big responsibility. I was hoping that I would be a mom by now, but my time has not come yet. I was in a relationship were kids were involved and I got very close to them. The relationship did not work out and the kids were hurt that I was no longer around them anymore and I was disappointed that I did not get to see them after the break-up. I still talk to them for time to time, but I do not want to mislead them to think that I am going to get back in a relationship with their father. I was not aware that these kids were neglected until later on. I am saddened that I can't parent them and I hope the best for them. Maybe in time, God will oversee this and make it possible for those children to have a stable life and household!! Children are innocent and then we adults mess them up! I hope that as a family, we are able to give Baby Summer a wonderful and stable life and lifestyle with the Baileys. She is definitely getting all the attention and kisses from everyone. She will truly be loved and adored in my family.
Until Next Time,
Carmen~
Long Time!!
It's been a long time since I have taken the time out to blog. I am hoping that life is great for you all. With all the violence going on in the world today, I hope that we are taking out the time to spend with the youth of our communities. They need to know that someone is there for them and they need to know that life is worth living. I see so many neglected children in my community and I want to make sure that I am giving my attention to the youth. Be blessed and see you soon!

Spring Time!!
I am so glad that Spring is here. This is the time of year I get to really enjoy my city. I kick off my Spring at the Dogwood Festival at Piedmont Park in downtown Atlanta and I love the scenery and atmosphere. I really enjoy walking in the park and looking at all the beautiful art and displays. I also go to enjoy the food venue portion (cause I am a major foodie). I take my mom every year and we have a different experience each time. I am so excited that the weather is getting warmer so that I can plan some Spring Events at my new house with friends and family. I hope that you enjoy your Spring Season and get out into your city and enjoy the great outdoors:)

Happy Holidays!!
Happy Holidays!! I hope that you have a safe and wonderful holiday this season. Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks and spend time with friends and family. It is a time to share a meal with those you love and be thankful for all you have and your health. I think in this day and age, people are so stressed out when the holidays hit that they can't enjoy it. I remind myself that this is time for me to be happy and rejoicing with my family and not stressing enough we have enough dinner rolls. We often get too caught up in the preparations that we miss the conversations, the time spent with family, and the laughter of the small children. After the dinner, you are too busy trying to clean up and never get a chance to sit down and enjoy a piece of pie. This is the year that I vow to myself to enjoy the holidays without the stress and without trying to please everyone in the family. I hope that you value time with your family for the holidays and I will chat with you soon~

Extremely Grateful!!!
I am so grateful for all that God has done for me and my family. I am inspired to blog about gratefulness. I am grateful for so many things and I some times have to remember to tell people how grateful I am for them being in my life. Oftentimes, we don't take out the time to tell people how we feel in a positive way. We are so negative that we are not allowing any positive things in our lives. I have stopped judging people and their lives and lifestyles-we are all different and we all have some thing different that we chose for our lives. If we were all the same, life would be very boring. I hope that during the holidays, you take out the time and reach out to those who you don't speak with often and let them know how grateful you are to have them in your life. One positive message leads to positive changes and positives attitudes. I am grateful that you are reading my Blog.
Be Grateful,
Carmen~
